As part of the Final Major Project, I've decided to create items of lingerie. I've started the experimentation process, by making bralettes out of house-hold net curtain. Here is the finished the mock-up, I think the construction of the piece went well. I’m pleased with how it turned out, though there are a few things I’ll change when making the real thing. I can’t decide if it looks too plain at the moment, or If it actually evokes the 1930’s era? Maybe, when i use actual vintage laces, it’ll add another element to it. As this lace appears too synthetic, not quite grasping the authentic vintage feel I'm aiming for.
